Please be advised that Horizon Cloud partner IBM Cloud will be migrating VMware's private network into a VRF during the below rescheduled maintenance window. IBM will also be migrating the Direct Links in WDC02 over to a new set of routers.
Maintenance Window: Start: Sunday, August 29, 2021 00:00 UTC End: Sunday, August 29, 2021 08:00 UTC Data center Affected: GERMANY - Frankfurt, JAPAN - Tokyo, UK - Chessington, UK - Farnborough, USA - Northern California, USA - Texas and USA – Virginia
Change Details: · Reclaim all Direct Links on the VMware public Accounts (US/EMEA/APAC) · Convert the private network into a VRF · Migrate the WDC02 Direct Links over to the new routers · Rebuild all Direct Links on the VMware public Account
Business Impact: Below listed objects may be inaccessible in 3 regions (US/EMEA/APAC) · All Direct Links will be down for most of the maintenance · VPN and Direct Link customers will be down during the VRF migration · Virtual Desktops up-time and Network connectivity - We are expecting interruption in accessing existing desktops. · Provisioning of new Virtual Desktops - During this window provision of new Virtual Desktops will be impacted. · Virtual Desktops power operations - During this window power operations to existing Virtual Desktops will be impacted. · Changes to the existing pool – Any pool changes will be impacted.
Impact Duration: 8 hours of customer impact is expected during this maintenance activity.
